In practice people call us at moments when something needs to be arranged immediately: you cannot get into your home, you cannot lock your door, there has been a burglary, a key has been stolen, or a multi-point lock blocks exactly when you need to leave. That is why for every emergency call we look at three things simultaneously: how do we get you inside quickly, how do we prevent extra damage, and how do we ensure the home is lockable again afterwards.
On the phone we ask targeted questions: is the key on the inside, does the key still turn, is it a wooden or plastic door, is it a cylinder lock or a multi-point lock, is there damage to the frame, and is there a burglary or only a lockout? Based on that we give a fair from-indication, the same as on this site. The exact price is set by our locksmith at the door, before a single screw is turned. If the situation turns out differently on site, we discuss it again with you before any extra costs arise.
Locked out without key
The door has slammed shut while the key is inside. We usually solve this without damage using professional opening tools.
Key on the inside
With some cylinders a key on the inside blocks the outside. We first open neatly and then advise on a possible emergency and danger function.
Broken key
We remove a broken key from the cylinder with extraction tools. The cylinder often remains usable.
Key keeps turning
If the key keeps turning without the door opening, the mechanism is usually defective. We open, disassemble and repair or replace specifically.
Multi-point lock blocked
A 3- or 5-point lock requires experience. Forcing increases the damage; we work brand-specific with Nemef, Lips, KFV, S2 and AXA.
Burglary damage

Why we do not drill immediately
Many rogue emergency services drill immediately because it bills quickly, but for you it is often the most expensive and ugliest solution. A drilled cylinder must always be replaced and sometimes the fittings or the door are also damaged. Our approach is different: first open without damage, then other options. Drilling with us is not standard practice but a last resort for heavily damaged, blocked or deliberately secured cylinders.
If drilling is necessary, you will hear that before we start. We explain why it cannot be done otherwise, what the extra costs are and which new cylinder will be installed. We usually advise SKG*** with anti-core drilling, especially for exterior doors. This way you are not only back inside, but your home is also safer than before the problem.

Back door
Back doors often have older hardware and are sensitive to alignment. We adjust, open and only replace what is necessary.
Sliding door

Emergency after burglary, what do you do first?
1. Call 112 immediately if there is still a suspicious situation. Only after that call someone else.
2. Do not touch anything in the house, for police trace investigation. Do take photos of the damage to door and frame.
3. Call your insurer. They often give you a damage number that must be on the invoice.
4. Call us. We come immediately to make your door safely closed again, also in the middle of the night. You receive a specified invoice that you can submit 1-on-1.
Are you not home when you discover it? No problem. We will wait with you if necessary until the police have finished taking statements, and then work directly.
